Today has been extremely detoxifying. Disgustingly so, and I won’t go into any more details unless you ask me personally. If you are going to fast for an extended period of time, it is definitely something that will happen to you. SO just be prepared. I’ll be listing things that may help you get through it in a future post.
I’m overly sensitive today, and can feel tension on the inside of my back rib? We shall see where this takes me. I get the feeling a lot of crying is in store :)

Tonight marks the one week anniversary of my starting the fast. Yay! Here’s to an AWESOME FUN FILLED POST ON what I’ve done to prevent bad situations from happening:
I want to let you know that I have taken every precaution I am currently able to afford to ensure that I am healthy. I am in touch with nutritionists and exercise scientists that I constantly update with my progress. I would never ‘take one for the team’ and do something ridiculous like fasting without looking into it before hand.
I do not know when this fast will end, but I do know my body will remain healthy no matter what precautions are necessary. Rest assured, I am safe. If you have any additional guidance you feel I may have overlooked, please let me know!
When my body asks for a specific nutrient I make sure it gets it. Last night and this morning, my mind wanted Almond Butter, which I used to consume a jar in one sitting….Yes…One jar in one sitting! Part of this is because my body needs the nutrients it provides. The other part is restarting your body system which is referenced to in my post on day 1 of the fast.

So I recently found out I am deathly allergic to Soy. The way I found this out is that I had a protein shake that contained Soy Milk. Within 15 mintues of taking a few sips, my throat literally started to close up. The next week and a half I had really bad stomach problems that I can’t get into….
